I do not hassle my customers with early holiday promotions.  I think they have a lot on their plate with the holiday stress.  What I do if my customers call me for service early I will offer them a 20% discount for any service that they choose and that seems to work for them. When my customers get their paid invoice I have a note at the bottom of the invoice to "Please rate our Service".  That helps to remind them or either I will send out an email asking for their review. I would really like to show appreciation to our cleaning and carpet techs. How do you do that when there are 8 people?

I would take everyone out to a breakfast meeting and let them know how much you appreciate their service.  Let them eat breakfast and believe that is all they are getting.  After everyone finishes the breakfast present them with a $25 gift card as an added bonus.
