I use a lot of different techniques. Exercise helps...stress builds up cortisol and adrenaline, which will take 12 hours to dissipate naturally, or 15 minutes to metabolize if you exercise. https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/... I also use a mild herbal tea to reduce anxiety...I used to have a drink (wine) in the afternoon to reduce anxiety, but found it too habit forming. Now I use chamomile and/or lemon balm tea both of which are mild relaxants.... (more)
