About Us

A Place of Light was created in 2003 to help people find their unique connection to spirit.

Included in its services are energy healing, herbal consultations, hypnotherapy, life coaching, spiritual conversations and classes in understanding how the unseen world manifests for you as an individual. We work with all ages.

Featured on A&E, Chronicle and Worcester Magazine.

How We Got Started

Too many people, including children, are misdiagnosed with DSM and/or mental health issues when the real cause of their behavior, depression, anxiety, etc. is their sensitivity to intuitive input. We have found, over the years, that people who gained both understanding and the tools to cope have gone on to have productive lives without the "symptoms" that gave cause for the diagnosis.

The foundation of our business was face to face classes.  We had to take all of this online.  However, the material developed for these classes has led us to other online services and everything turned out very well for us!   (more) The foundation of our business was face to face classes.  We had to take all of this online.  However, the material developed for these classes has led us to other online services and everything turned out very well for us!

Going  online has meant creating different content, but the clients are sticking with us.  We are busy developing online events, classes, but do hope we do not have to recreate our retreat to be an online one!  It is scheduled for 05/2021.  Thankfully, our income is maintaining the essentials.   (more) Going  online has meant creating different content, but the clients are sticking with us.  We are busy developing online events, classes, but do hope we do not have to recreate our retreat to be an online one!  It is scheduled for 05/2021.  Thankfully, our income is maintaining the essentials.

I was thinking the other day that if I still had the children's center (we ran three summer programs), we would probably have to close.   (more) I was thinking the other day that if I still had the children's center (we ran three summer programs), we would probably have to close.

Thankfully we can still maintain our primary source of income online.  However, our face to face clientele is not happening.   (more) Thankfully we can still maintain our primary source of income online.  However, our face to face clientele is not happening.

Everyone still comes to class and we still hug each other!  It is a testimony to what we study that no one is afraid.   (more) Everyone still comes to class and we still hug each other!  It is a testimony to what we study that no one is afraid.
