I had been in the trucking industry as an over the road driver for many years before I decided to get off the road and have a "normal" life. I then started dispatching in the trucking industry at a time when there were constant mergers, lay-offs, and down sizing and was looking for a job every 6 months to a year.

After the last downsizing took place I realized I had to start looking into helping myself for myself, and not corporate America or the trucking industry.

One day, I was reading the classified ads in the Sunday paper and saw an ad that read " Pet sitter, east valley, part-time make $18,000.00 a year."

I decided that since I had all this experience with animals, I would start my own pet sitting business, and went online and got business cards and started my business by placing my cards at Vet offices, groomers, grocery stores, etc.
