I believe the closings of small business are because most do not understand how to make the business go forward and all the things they have to do in the beginning. For a business owner to "fear staying in business" leads me to believe they do not like what they are doing, are not comfortable with the stress, are not happy with their hours, are not good at dealing with people, or collecting money, then they should not be in business for themselves. Not knowing how your company is structured I would suggest slow and methodical. Someone on your staff with commercial experience would help. (more) Not knowing how your company is structured I would suggest slow and methodical. Someone on your staff with commercial experience would help.

Facts are your best friend ! Judging the severity of any rumor might give you insight whether to respond or not. It is most imperative your employees know the truth and the facts represent the truth. Sometimes saying, showing, explaining doesn't have to be big...... Simplicity can make the most... (more) Facts are your best friend ! Charge just under what the market will bear, give great customer service, and you will have more business than you can do. Then charge what the market will bear.
