WoofCat is a minority, woman-owned hand-crafted organic pet treat company born in the heart of the south! Now that's unique! LOL
Our treats are made with less than five ingredients "even a pet parent can eat!"

How We Got Started

Hi, my name is Nicole Winstead, and I am the owner and baker of WoofCat.

I started taking in strays in 2005, and I have rescued over 32 dogs and 12 cats. I wanted every stray that I saved to have the healthiest life possible! And I knew treats created a bond of trust between the rescuer of a lost, or injured stray; therefore, rescuers and pet parents must trust the healthiness of the treats they give. While rescuing strays, I began to research the ingredients in commercial treats, and I found commercial dog and cat treats were not
​the most beneficial option, solidifying my desire and need to handcraft all-natural pet treats.

My friends were so pleased with how much their fur babies loved the treats they convinced me to participate in the 2016 Little Rock ETSY festival. And here WoofCat is today, a full-fledged business selling our all-natural handcrafted treats to pet parents.

My love for strays will never wane, and rescuing will always be part of the WoofCat story and business
