I have been blessed! My business has not slowed down at all, if anything, it has picked up! I think it is that everyone in the family is home and people are realizing their homes are small! I have been drawing a lot of additions, second story additions, remodels and ADUs.

I have been just as busy as before the pandemic! I feel lucky! People are still adding on, kitchen and bath remodel to their homes!
ADU has been very popular! People trying to get extra rent dollars! (Accessory Dwelling Unit). Convert your garage into a rental and make extra money!

The only problem I am experiencing is when I have to submit plans to the city! All are close and have a email submittal system that is not perfect yet! It is taking 2-4 weeks for plan check now.

If you do quality work, fair pricing, positive attitude and honest, word will get around! It takes a little time but be patient. People/clients will seek you out! Talk to the people that can lead you to more clients.

In the 40 years of business, I have not had to advertise! All my clients came from the right contacts or contractors I have worked with! They do all the referring to my business.
Consider everyone a possible client and treat them as such!
