Branding is good.- I like for my logo to seen and recognized. Not all activity or visibility is good. Depends on your target customer and range of inspections you want to do or have time for. 

For those just starting it is important to be in many places- once you have a few yrs under your belt- you will get more referrals from past clients and their family and friends.-- If you do good work, be fair, and honest.
