I personally would prefer email.  Mail is expensive, and a bit antiquated.  Save the trees, planet and your money.  I'm more interested in the personal touch and emailing me directly provides that purpose.  If a client doesn't respond, it's just the stoke of your fingers doing the work.  Applying the 10/3/1 rule.  For every 10 emails you send, maybe three will respond and maybe one will become the client.  So if you need 10 clients, you'll have to send 100 emails.  Out...
