As my 8 year old granddaughter tells me - "I am the technology expert Papa!"  I would look to the local high schools for talented students looking for a part time job.  The students handling the yearbook would be a great resource.  Might give you a different perspective also.  Good luck. Specializing in specific destinations where you can be the expert is probably a great idea. Disney vacations in Florida are a great example.  Try "Hidden Mickey" books to add something extra to customer experience .  Try to set yourself apart from the others. Consider every opportunity a friend until they prove otherwise.  No matter how extroverted you are you still do not sell 100% of your opportunities therefore learn to accept the failures.  It helps to have a passion for the product or service you are selling.  Become an expert on it and present with confidence.  If you can't do this you might want to look for an alternative career path.  Sales is not for everyone.
