I served in the Army from 1960 thru 1963. I was stationed in Hawaii for 2.6 year and 6 months in Thailand. I have been in the real estate business since 1978. Started with Gerald Chavez Realty, Owned Century 21 Altura, Exit Altura Realty and now Altura Real Estate. We went through some hard years during the 2008 recession. My advice to other veterans who have a business is to work and just hang in there during hard times and all times. (more)
