I've been in the insurance role since 2018 working in auto and home insurance at first, and then supplemental insurance. Most of my work history has been in warehousing having many different types of positions at several companies. One of the reasons why I started in insurance was to help protect those who didn't know how to do it themselves. I believe that what I am doing now will help more people, because I can customize individual plans that fit around a person's (or family's) budget and needs. 

I have worked more than 15 years with companies that mostly offered the same generic plans that included coverages that I couldn't use. And sadly, this is what most people don't know. Many health plans that companies offer include coverages that some people, if not most, pay extra for that they don't need and/or could ever use. Now, I have a chance to help those who need to save more on their insurance premiums, so that they can have more to spend on other financial obligations.
