How We Got Started

I have been writing professionally for over thirty years, with hundreds of articles published in dozens of magazines, newspapers, and online sites.

I've also written public-relations material on topics as varied as opera, chiropractic, and nanotechnology, in addition to food and wine (my writing specialty). I edit all my own writing.

In 1997, I helped to launch Wine X Magazine (as co-owner and Founding Editor). I edited (and proofread) every article in every issue for the magazine’s 7-year tenure.

I also began editing fiction and nonfiction books, articles, online content, etc., for private clients – including book and magazine publishers.

Author:
• Seafood Pasta & Noodles – The New Classics (1994, Ten Speed Press – full-scale print cookbook).

• Food and Wine Pairing – The Easy Way (a Drink Wine With Dinner® Book). 2018 eBook (first in a series).

• Editing for Authors – "Top Ten Topics" (©2018 Rosina Tinari Wilson) – Email me for your *free* copy!

As a writer: I am extremely versatile as to topic – for example, I've written PR materials not only for culinary businesses (my specialty: e.g. wineries, restaurants and food purveyors) but on topics as varied as opera, chiropractic, and nanotechnology. Many book authors are in touch with one another (in real life or online), and I frequently get referrals from authors who have been pleased with the editing work I have done for their books. Since most of the writing I do is public relations-oriented, I often have PR firms call on me regularly for their various clients (mostly wineries, restaurants and food businesses, but I am by no means limited to these areas). Word of mouth comes into play here as well, as one business that is happy with my services will refer me to another, and to another...
