1.buyinsurance
2.know what you have bought... read the policy and if you do not understand ask your agent or broker to clarify... look at what is not covered.. not what is covered.
3.take pictures of your property in & out... be you own tour...

in the event of a hurricane or tornado.. or any loss.. keep important papers in a box easily taken with you If you have to find shelter.
keep at least $200 cash on hand with you at all times.. tuck it away with important papers.
get to safety as quick as you can. if your dead insurance does not matter to you.
you can replace property... you cant replace lives..insurance will look after the property damage.

if you can work from home comfortably and are disciplened enough to work the required hours needed to complete your work.. than work from home... the tax advantage is great.... but.. if you cannot get that done and can afford the extra rent and utilities that a small office with the exposure it...

most of my prospects are referrals... I ask carefully worded questions... honesty is the biggest factor.. if clients lie to me on auto questions... they go to the bottom of the pile.. if they are upfront and ask for help because they have issues.. I help them out because they were honest...
