Judy,   It depends on the size of your company, the type of business, and the differentiation of employee responsibilities.  Quickbooks is an excellent bookkeeping system so there should be a person in house who is excellent at using it, but then depending on the things I just mentioned whether... (more) Judy,   It depends on the size of your company, the type of business, and the differentiation of employee responsibilities.  Quickbooks is an excellent bookkeeping system so there should be a person in house who is excellent at using it, but then depending on the things I just mentioned whether you use accrual/cash basis should be the call of your outside accountant.
