About Us
Catamount Corporation was started in 2006 John Doten in DC/MD. Catamount started as a company in 2006 exclusively using UNUM, building bilingual enrollment solutions in the DC market. In 2009, we added Allstate as a client. In 2015 Catamount started working as benefit consultant for Allstate throughout Northeast. John started with background in securities and health insurance with additional focus on both Life Insurance and Disability. Catamount contracted with Colonial Life (Aflac competitor) in 2023. I worked for Aflac from 2022-2023 then moved to Catamount in Oct 2023.
