To give your email the best chance of reaching their inbox you will need to use a mailing list provider such as mailchimp.com or constantcontact.com. Even if your email is not spam, sending mail to 1500 addresses is a characteristic of a spammer and will trigger spam detection on many servers especially when it comes from a public email service such as gmail.
