About Us

Specializing in local storage, moving and packing supplies, Reliable Transfer & Storage offers solutions to households and small businesses alike. We are committed to providing cost-effective, convenient and responsive local services to Manhattan.

Originally founded in 1908 by Roy Tobias, Reliable Transfer & Storage has been providing moving and storage solutions for over 100 years. In 1936, Henry Bayer bought the company and began a legacy of ownership passed down through his family spanning three-generations.

Dennie Bayer, Henry’s grandson, took over in 1985 from his father, Warren, serving the Manhattan community for over 30 years and remains with the company as General Manager.

In 2016, the company was acquired by David and Rose Kreller, continuing the local legacy started in 1908 of "Ready Reliable".

We send out thank you cards to all of our customers that we do projects for. We have all of our employees sign them. We also send out Christmas cards to several of our local businesses that we work with throughout the year.

You can work on website stuff internally as well as SEO. Honestly, our most successful form of marketing has been developing relationships with realtors, property managers, and other business owners. We always ask our prospective customers "how did you hear about us?" Quite frankly, we have more people respond with their realtor recommended us or you moved our friends than online, so why would we spend more money to improve our online presence when we get a better ROI by developing relationships. Hopefully this helps.

I imagine it probably would be a good way to get ideas. I personally do not use Pinterest, but my wife does and always creating/making things from there.
