It's more social and educational than networking even though the attendees introduced to each other. Our community committee leader organized bunch of these types of events during pandemics and is still organizing continuously on ongoing basis. In my view, networking is more in person meeting where you get to know the networking buddy more through the eye contact, voice tone, body language and most important is hand shake and hug which we are missing. I am eagerly waiting for this COVID-19 crisis to be over so that we can go back to in person meetings.
