Depends on how much PTO that you have.  I would schedule a part of a vakay week just because the rehearsal dinner is Thursday night, Friday is crazy, and Saturday is showtime!  Sunday you can relax somewhat and return to work on Monday.  This is if you have a traditional Saturday wedding.  (more) Depends on how much PTO that you have.  I would schedule a part of a vakay week just because the rehearsal dinner is Thursday night, Friday is crazy, and Saturday is showtime!  Sunday you can relax somewhat and return to work on Monday.  This is if you have a traditional Saturday wedding.

Yes, definitely.  It breaks up the whole concentration and purpose of the meeting.  Even if you leave the room to take the call, the concentration factor is diminished, somewhat, because people are wondering what was so important to make you leave the meeting. When we hear the "blip" on the phone, we automatically hang up. If someone magically appears in our business, we are so annoyed that we send them away. It is so annoying when you are busy, to have all of these people calling and coming in. (more) When we hear the "blip" on the phone, we automatically hang up.
