How We Got Started

I practiced law for many years and became a mother, COO of a law firm and author. It was after my own divorce with children that I realized the need for someone, other than my own legal, financial and therapeutic professional to give me practical tools for creating the mindset for success. As a divorced mother of four, and now part of a blended family of five children, I know that I can offer couples and individuals perspective, coparenting expertise and practical tips in contemplation, in the midst of or post-divorce. My profession is my passion and I will give you and your clients the time and attention they need to survive and thrive.

I want them to use "back-end" access to my website to do it and also help me create specific advertising campaigns, with measurable goals, to find my ideal clients, in person and online too. I do not want to add content others have written on my website but rather use my professional expertise to write additional articles that draw people to me. I am certainly open to website design expertise about where things should go on my site and how to maximize the impact.

A Divorce Coach can help you, as an objective thinking partner, make decisions as you contemplate, separate, divorce and when post divorce issues arise. I am a lawyer by training and also a Parent Coordinator. I walk right by the side of my individual and couple clients as they navigate a difficult life journey. I can refer to lawyers, mediators, financial professionals, therapists, as needed. I'm also "right here" to help calm the overwhelm and head off potential misunderstandings that occur through poor communication. I also draft parenting plans and make certain my clients understand the legal decisions they make too. Working with a Divorce Coach may be the most valuable decision you make in your separation and divorce. My goals are yours and I am committed to de-escalation for you and your children. I work in person with clients and remotely all over the U.S. too. www.DearDivorceCoach.com

Get a retainer for services high enough to cover at least 3/4 of your time or all of it if you can. Better to return fees than to chase them. (more) Get a retainer for services high enough to cover at least 3/4 of your time or all of it if you can. Better to return fees than to chase them.

Events are fun and often help you meet potential clients and other professionals but you can do this in many other ways too: coffee/teas, lunches, dinners or just a 30 min. office meeting. Good luck!

I think networking is critical to almost any business because getting to know people builds relationship and when people need someone in your area of expertise they reach out to someone they trust who may be you! I appreciate that I will have the opportunity to try it and be satisfied or get a return on my investment. I have never taken the opportunity to get my money back which suggests good providers have this guarantee.
