Hi Cindy, I don't believe that there is one single most important question. Since I deal in commercial real estate loans, the basic most important questions are when looking at the size of the proposed transaction are, 1. what is your net worth, 2 what does your credit look like, 3 do you have...

Hi Cindy, I don't believe that there is one single most important question. Since I deal in commercial real estate loans, the basic most important questions are when looking at the size of the proposed transaction are, 1. what is your net worth, 2 what does your credit look like, 3 do you have your equity in place and lastly, what is your experience? If these are all satisfactory, I would then be inclined to take on the client and underwrite the debt for a private placement. I hope that this helps.
