We find more complains in our trade from clients who say "I WANT THIS" and do not listen to reason only to find that they are not happy with the purchase and want to get a smaller unit.. Avoid these problems..we were given two ears to LISTEN and only one mouth to ASK. Learn when to use both.

Everything in my life goes in the 'big book'. From Client appointments to hockey games and doctors visits. The whole idea of keeping a Schedule Book is to add things as they come up and schedule a little Date Night in twice a month. Even book in from the kids school calendars. Ink colours change for each 'type' of appointment. Work in Black, meetings in Blue, Kids in Red and Miscellaneous appointments in Orange. Being a small mom and pop type business this is easier for us than those with a "job". But there are still challenges as we do not work the typical M to F 9-5 profession. So scheduling in Family Time is most crucial in order to get the best of both worlds. I once scheduled my husband a job at my gal pals home. When he got there, there was no work to be done but there was a fresh change of clothes, a sumptuous dinner for two all set out and ready for him to enjoy. He thought he was going to work and he found a nice Friday evening surprise instead. All he had to do was pop into the guest shower while I finished making the meal. My gal pal even had arranged HER schedule to be out with my kids that night and they drove my car home so I could go back with Vince after the evening was done. So we got a night away and he got a nice surprise. Kids were asleep in their beds when we got home and my gal pal had a bottle of wine and 2 glasses set out in the front room for us to enjoy. So Long Story Short.... TIME MANAGEMENT and a little creativity
