Working at a Chamber of Commerce, I am so fortunate to have two sources to lean on. The Small Business Development Center business advisor and also the SCORE advisors visit my office twice a month. They meet with entrepreneurs and business owners looking for help with business plans, strategy, problem solving and the like and at no cost. I'll make an appointment myself just to pick their brain on ideas I have, to help me grow as a leader and talk through whatever I have going on at that particular time. Anyone thinking of opening a business or are already a business owner should take advantage of their local Chamber of Commerce - call to make an appointment with their business advisors, it's always free, you don't have to be a member of the chamber, and you will get some great advise from these seasoned folks that can really help your business grow and thrive!
