What's something you wish you knew about starting a woman-owned business?
Answered by:
I’m lucky to work in an industry dominated by women and belong to a team that collaborates. Our leadership shares their knowledge with the rest of the team. It’s been such a blessing to belong to this group of humanitarian entrepreneurs who cheer you on and want you to succeed. I would say that it’s critical to research what’s the environment like in that particular industry and interview other female business owners when considering starting a venture. If you’re the first, you’re a pioneer!

You are right Patricia. In this season of enlightenment, more people are open to global wellness, integrative medicine, and what is considered 'alternative' medicine. More and more, people understand the value of self-care, less invasive care, and more organic and natural care. A challenge, however, can arise from the belief that healers should not profit from their gifts, which is counter-intuitive to allowing abundance to flow from doing what you love. I am happy to see more wellness services finding comprehensive and creative ways to generate wealth while delivering these much-needed services. Thank you for what you do. Please don't hesitate to connect, I'd love to continue tracking your success. :)

Hi Carol, will send you a connection request. I like to find like-minded individuals to connect with. It's ridiculous to think that someone who is offering a service to others could not make a profit from their work in any field. Wellness professionals are more sought out now than at any other time and that's going to continue to rise, esepcially in light of this current pandemic. Preventing with effective solutions is what we can do to avoid illness of any kind.
