2023 taught me a lot! I'll highlight just 3 of my many lessons.
1. Building a team is not easy, but a group of motivated and engaged people behind your business is the best investment you can make.

1. Building a team is not easy, but a group of motivated and engaged people behind your business is the best investment you can make.
In 2023 our company grew quite a bit requiring expansion of the team. I've never been happier and more enthusiastic about the future because of the people behind the scenes, making our business better than I could have ever imagined.
2. Innovation is our secret weapon!
One of the main reasons 2023 was a successful year is the ways we continued to innovate and be versatile. These principles of our business helped us expand rapidly, and most importantly, improve our solutions for our customers. When I review 2023 every time we improved our platform, innovated our solutions with new tech, or were simply more versatile with our solutions than competitors are willing to be - it reflected positively for our business. Meanwhile I saw many posts this year from competitors talking about business being stagnant and not what it used to be. Innovation is a major factor to this year's and future success.
3. Lead with love!
Being a facilitator for the businesses we support is engaging, challenging, and a constant education. In 2023 our company was privileged enough to work with so many interesting and diverse businesses. Ultimately business owners just want our solutions to create results and provide the outcomes they want. But throughout 2023 a common theme in the recommendations, reviews, and feedback we receive is our heart and how much we care for the businesses we support. We work hard to achieve the goals our customers require of us, but being recognized consistently all year for the compassion and time we invest is what makes it all worth it. Not only do we care tremendously for the businesses we support, but we also donate our time to business owners who need help and donate financially to non-profits like One Tree Planted too. Making a positive impact is a major cornerstone of our company and there was a lot of love in 2023!

Some people are just starting on Alignable and should be supported. I honestly connect with and listen to everyone. Certainly recommendations help - especially quality ones where the business is mentioned by name or they talk about the service completed. So you know the recommendation is a legitimate business contact or customer. That matters more than how many recommendations someone has. I turn down recommendations if I don't know who the person is, because there is a lot of that going around Alignable too. To me, there is no difference in 15 recommendations or over 100. The few people I've seen with over 100 have clearly just been on here for a long time. It doesn't mean anything. I think how someone interacts with others and contributes is far more important than anything.

This is very much a focus of my company and I think you too would have success with it. It certainly depends on the business, but if you implement the right strategy for the right target market, you will see success I'm sure.
