After a long career in other industries, I chose to become a travel agency as my final business. Why? Because I love traveling so much it seemed natural for me to help others accomplish their wishes and dreams. And to help new agents which could benefit from my multi-business experiences over the past 63 years in business.

I began with my favorite places Hawaii, Vancouver, Alaska, the Caribbean and European River Cruises. I have traveled to and became a Certified Specialist in each of the areas I was familiar with and enjoyed travelling there. I served in Europe while in the US Army.

I also love cruising, and it was a natural progression to obtain a Masters degree through the Universities of Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruse Lines and certifications with Carnival, MSC, Silversea, Celebrity Viking and many others. Again, beginning with my favorites and familiarity. Hawaii, Alaska, Vancouver, Caribbean and Europe being ports of call for these cruise lines which I have sailed from made a natural progression. River and Expedition cruises have been added along with Environmental, Health and specialty travel.

I have earned Travel Certifications CTA, VTA and continue working on others with ASTA, CLIA, IATA, The Travel Institute and more Travel organizations.

It is amazing to learn and share about the fabulous places on this earth. Even more amazing to learn how I can help you enjoy your vacations as I have mine. I had never realized how much specialty education was required to be able to adequately represent my clients. I cannot learn fast enough to share it with my friends and future clients.

Spending a lifetime owning, leading, supervising and managing businesses, I was on vacation in Hawaii ready to go to the beach when my phone rang. A tech client had a problem that couldn’t wait and I handled it sitting in my swimsuit, t-shirt and flip flops and getting paid to look at the ocean ready to go snorkeling.
That is when I decided to begin Meld Travel.

When I realized that we are no longer tied to a fixed location but have the option to work from anywhere, at anytime, be anywhere, and enjoy our lives. Dozing, snorkeling, scuba diving, zip-lining, hiking, beach combing and so much more.

Meld Travel was to become a reality!
