One critical thing you will need is to become a licensed General Contractor. Besides the licensing, you will need to legally create a company of some type and put business processes in place to protect yourself. You will need liability insurance at a minimum and confirm that all subcontractors...

One critical thing you will need is to become a licensed General Contractor. Besides the licensing, you will need to legally create a company of some type and put business processes in place to protect yourself. You will need liability insurance at a minimum and confirm that all subcontractors providing labor on your projects have both liability and workers comp insurance. Without all of these, you do not have adequate protections. Suggest you use QuickBooks contractor version to track and report everything. Talk to Mark below about before and after photos.
