Business Cards. I always have a pocket full of business cards. They work anywhere and everywhere, no matter your business. If you receive good service somewhere, say thank you, and hand the person a card. Ask to see the supervisor/manager, repost the good service, and hand him a business card....

With every one, you can add something to the effect of "if I may be of service to you, your customers, family or friends, etc., please feel free to contact me."

Wow. From what I read, you folks are all "healthy". I get up when the dogs want out. I turn on the coffee pot and go lie down until it is done. I then drink my first pot, feed the dogs and care for the cats. Depending on whether I have a class or not, I get dressed and leave or go back to sleep...

Wow. From what I read, you folks are all "healthy". I get up when the dogs want out. I turn on the coffee pot and go lie down until it is done. I then drink my first pot, feed the dogs and care for the cats. Depending on whether I have a class or not, I get dressed and leave or go back to sleep for an hour or so. Then, if i am home, I get on the computer and do my postings, answer any email I have as I drink my second pot of coffee. Once 10 am hits, I am awake and ready to start the day. I have NEVER been a morning person - always an night owl - even as a child. I do not have any set schedule. my hours are always varying.

My special occasions never require jewelry. However, I think it is a great idea. Hollywood "stars" rent jewelry for red carpet affairs. This could work for bridal parties (after all, guys rent tuxedos and limos are rented). This could work for high end fundraising benefits or corporate events. ...

I think it might work - depending on where you live. As long as the jewelry is "special", it can be "real" or "faux".

Tim, In my case, it is because I am technologically challenged. Yes, I got my www addresses from GoDaddy. Then I went to VistaPrint, since I have been doing business with them for years. There were not a lot of choices a few years ago ... now there. are. I was/am able to "do it myself". Both my websites are really long - lots of information. They are simple, and that is fine with me. They work. They are reasonably priced, and the customer service (if i do have an issue) is great. I can also coordinate my websites with my business cards and other items. So, for me, it is wonderful. If I were a really big company, I would be going to a professional. I am unaware of the negative effects a template based website can have on my online image and presence. What are the negative effects?

Glenn, If you love to travel, I would say yes. Who would your target audience be? If traveling would be more of a burden than a pleasure, what about making a video of some sort, and sending it to specific folks. If there was an interest for more information, then you could travel and do an in...

I would love to host a student. Why do I not? #1. Not enough room. #2. I have critters. I have cats and GSDs. I foster as well. Having a student could mean allergy issues. Also, the liability of a stranger around rescues - especially GSDs, is not the best idea. Otherwise, I would.

I see the others' concerns. My question is what cruise lines? Some cater to adults, some more toward children. If you had some reason to get the children into the shop ... With second hand clothing, I am guessing you have some good deals. But, maybe, you could offer an extra special deal on...

Or, a free top or pair of shorts or shoes with an outfit ... When I first read your question, I could picture all the passengers walking down the gangplank. And I thought of "cute children" in your outfits handing out fliers. Then I read the ship hands out information. Maybe you could gather a group of "cute children", dress them in your clothes, And them hold a sign saying Welcome to (your town's name). Stop by Babygagaa Boutique on (Main Street) and see more cute outfits. Enjoy your day. Most parents will always notice "cute children". I hope you can use what we have all shared. Enjoy you summer season.
I read long blogs / articles, if it is interesting and I am learning something. I have been told keep post "short", or do a video. When I have something to post, I do, and it is thorough. I do "break it up" - spaces between paragraphs, etc. Do Not Underestimate your clients, or potential clients....

I do "break it up" - spaces between paragraphs, etc. Do Not Underestimate your clients, or potential clients. Say what you have to say. some will read it, others will not. That is okay. Your posts will not all be the same length, so that does add variety. If you feel something is "too long", post half of it, then the other half "next time", such as book chapters.
Acronyms are great - at times. Not all acronyms represent the same thing to different folks. What do you mean by EHR and EMR. I am EMR certified and an EMR instructor. To me, with my background ... EMR = Emergency Medical Responder. When you need us, we are your best friend!
