I like to read and talk with other biz people who have more experience than I do. The last four years I have participated in a monthly area mastermind group with other entrepreneurs. This group began as a Build It Grow It class through our local economic development group, NW Illinois Economic Development. This is also where I can access one-on-one time with an experienced business consultant. This has been very beneficial in getting/keeping my business on track for a very reasonable sum of money. Lastly, I enjoy reading. One of the BEST books I've read for inspiration and knowledge is Thou Shall Prosper: Ten Commandments for Making Money, by Rabbi Daniel Lapin, A.C. Fellner, et al. The content of Thou Shall Prosper follows biblical wisdom in dealing with the world of business, as you can imagine by the author's title.
I'm not this year. The new landlord took possession of our building on November 1. We are in the throes of the major remodeling project right now. Not a good environment into which to invite the public.
