The question is will you be financially able to retire if desired or needed. You can work as long as you want but may choose to cruise around the world. Sell the business and let someone else worry about it. Other things may take precedence in your life but if you can't afford to follow your 'new' dreams you are SOL. Planning for retirement should start with the very first paycheck of your life before school, kids or anything else.
