depending on what type of business you have the most cost effective marketing you can do is on premise signage (a typical display costs between 10-20000) but it is there for as long as you are where a cyber campaign has recurring costs .but you also have to have a web presence .even if you are a home based business you can still do effective professional signage in front of your home for a reasonable cost.
definitely getting out of the office and visiting my existing clients, its amazing how much work we pick up by mining our clients who give us more work and refer us to new projects and by others

that is a good question thou sometimes you have to lower your mark up for aaa customers . I stress best materials + qualified staff +real overhead in the price with longer warrantee ( if your not charging enough you wont be around for the warrantee )
