How We Got Started

Stephen Durand, the founder of Dura Medical is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). As a CRNA he used the medication Ketamine as an anesthetic, but later discovered that it was being used to treat depression, anxiety, PTSD and many chronic pain disorders.
Realizing that there were many people suffering with these conditions and that no one was providing this type of service in Collier County, Stephen decided to make this life changing treatment available. Since opening Stephen and his team have treated thousands of clients with fantastic results.

We converted our Psychiatric Evaluations, Medication Management and Psychotherapy appointments to Telehealth.  The response has been overwhelmingly positive for our clients as well as for our practitioners.  For the very few clients who still prefer an in-person visit, we have made exceptions for... (more) We converted our Psychiatric Evaluations, Medication Management and Psychotherapy appointments to Telehealth.  The response has been overwhelmingly positive for our clients as well as for our practitioners.  For the very few clients who still prefer an in-person visit, we have made exceptions for them.  In those instances we have very large offices that can accommodate the 6 foot social distance rule as well as assuring both clients and practitioners remain masked throughout the visit.   Stephen E.
