(more) Nowadays I think that almost anybody can work with digital marketing, the real question is if anybody can bring results with their digital marketing.  Thinking about it, in my opinion, it is working to accomplish one goal at the time, and because there are many different goals a business may need to reach, some of them might be doable for inexperienced digital marketing work, while some of them will not even be an option on the list. Getting professional help at some point will always be a good thing.  Some questions below might help business owners positioning in the right direction. 1. Do you have the time to research, create and analyze results? 2. Are you familiarized with computers, social media, website/landing page creation?  (If not, it brings you to the first question) 3. Do you know what channels and methods to use for better results in your business' industry? (If not, first question) Summarizing it all, I think it's the value of a business owners time vs money to spend with hiring a digital marketing company, if the time is more valuable applied doing something in the business, looking for professional help might become a cheap option.  Simple process for a start on digital marketing, create online presence, not too many posts (to start), but some that will make your business remarkable... that will include social medias you want your business to be on, create a website and register with search engines. After that, don't use paid ads without strategy, they're key to the process, but can really hurt a business that doesn't use them right. After everything is done, go ahead and start using each component with strategies, so you can compare results and measure growth.
