Something I have learned through the process of opening a brick and mortar from being a mobile caterer, is that you really need to make sure your personal matters and needs are met before you decide to go back to work again. I went through a transition from being a grieving wife and mother during a time of building out a commercial kitchen. It changed my life. The next thing I learned is that once you do overcome the obstacles and challenges, you will be able to overcome it once the pieces are put together in a valuable way. It makes it more worth it in the outcome and taste so much sweeter. You can’t expect to not have success without failure. First you don’t succeed, get up and try again. One day you will be grateful for all the sweat and tears. Sell beef jerky, give to the poor and receive all the blessings that come along with doing your passion and at the end of the day, it’s just a building. The people that come to you face to face matter the most. ❤️
