Additionally, Ophelia is internationally certified in patient (client) experience and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion; and both paradigms inform Ophelia’s approach to coaching and consulting.

Of Ophelia’s 25-year healthcare career, the last 15 years have been in progressive leadership roles; and over the last three years of Ophelia’s leadership experience, she has served as a C-Suite executive. As a leader, Ophelia has long been a go-to mentor for many experienced, emerging, and aspiring leaders. She has supported them in attaining promotions, negotiating salaries, designing their career paths, pursuing academic degrees and board certifications, surmounting team challenges, developing and managing projects…and even mapping exit strategies.

After multiple successes, especially in honoring the unique needs of leaders with marginalized identities, like leaders who are women, Black or Brown, LGBTQIA+, disabled, etc., Ophelia decided to “eat her own cooking”. As she encouraged her mentees to do, she took the next natural step in her professional development: becoming a formally trained coach.
