My business is a different type of business than your friend of course, so that needs to be taken into consideration. I also deal with people in many different states that would not allow for in person meetings.
Absolutely. It is a huge deal breaker for some candidates. It helps your company attract good quality employees and also helps retain them. It is a way to show appreciation and an alternate compensation option which can be tax deductible to the business.
