Even though we talked the day before, I always follow up 2 hours before appointment. This is a good time that if last minute things came up for ME or my appointment , then we both have enough leeway time to not get on the train, in traffic and can rearrange our day. Also, I want to mention- YOU knew deep in your heart that appointment would be a no show. You could feel their vibe when you talked to them. I think you proposed this question because you knew it too and you want to know how to trust your gut. Some people are YES people. They just agree to agree then when the rubber hits the road they bail out.
Either from fear or they were not that interested from start go, they have no urgency.
I wouldn't sweat it. That experience saved you months of disappointment from indecisiveness. You would be chasing your tail with that one.
The trick is to now recognize the signs.
If anything, follow up before the appointment so you are not waiting around.
Make every effort to connect right before that way it shows you held up your end of the deal and if they are not responsible or respecting you enough to return or reply, then right it off and move on.
If they are serious they will reschedule, and this time they know that you are not desperate for them and that YOU value YOUR time.
It is called sifting and sorting.

First off , Google SERP by applying white-hat SEO strategies. SERP STANDS FOR : Search Engine Results Page. SEO STANDS FOR : Search Engine Optimization . I am not the one to give you an magic answer, but I will say this. IT ALL COUNTS. I too, am working to get more looking at my site. It takes work to get the boat off the island, but once it starts moving, you can start to sail away.
These are some free ways, of course if you want to pay, you can get moving a lot faster with
PAID ADVERTISING
Some Free suggestions
1) Meta Tags on your pages http://tools.seobook.com/meta-medic/
2) Descriptions on your images ( ppl image search - this links back to your site)
3) Multiple Domains pointed to your site and specific pages.
4) Partnering up with complimenting products ( swap web links together)
5) Create your own #tag. #mybadassblog and USE IT EVERYWHERE
6) Be on all major social sites even the no so major- the niche sites.
7) Find your personality and rock it out.
8) Offer a free product on your site, must give email to receive. Thus, creating a list.
9) Your list, create informative NON SELLING newsletters, stay engaged- start building trust so they can start talking about you.
10) Create Vids, point them back to your site.
11) Do events, speak
11) Keep adding more content so it will refresh google search and keep you ranked to the top.
These are just some off the top of my head. Again if you have a budget that allows some spending allowance for marketing, well along with the above, you can research and find qualifying products and services that help optimize your blog at a much faster rate.
Trust me , we are ALL a work in progress, me included.
I would start with some of the above you can do on your own, then research MARKETING YOUR WEB SITE 2017. ( I would put 2017 because it is changing all the time)
Here is a great article I just found.. you and I can read it together to get the juices flowing :)

I have been to many networking events and yes, everybody is not interested in YOU, they are interested in themselves trying to make a sale. Is like talking to the wind them patiently waiting for you to shut up so they can get back into their pitch or bragging session.. and more than likely trying to score a date with you.. How many times I turned down a date that because of their bruised ego, also lost a potential client.. Either way, I would have had a dinner date and still no client, and more then likely is married trying to pass off this dinner date as biz meeting.. Bartender, check please get me the hell outtah here. So saved by the bell by saying NO to wasting my time. I go to these events to build a network not to get laid.. I think this Spark game is good, however if people need guidance on how to navigate the room DURING the event, then what happens when they leave? These cards should come with a check list, a piece of paper where they can write names down the next plan of action for tomorrow.. best time to call, best day to call.. holds the net worker and networkee committed to each other, that they will not flake off never to be heard from again. Face to face at these events EVERYBODY IS SO EXCITED.. Rah rah rah... You leave feeling ex tactic at all the biz cards you have in your hands, counting each one as if they are $100 bills ha ! Email them all, and they are unresponsive ( most not all ) because remember they are not there to see what you can do for them, it is what they can do for you. sell sell sell. Having said all of that, I think these cards are great gets the ball rolling and entertaining.. adding a follow up sheet, an interest sheet, a connection sheet ( whatever you want to call it ) where both parties enter into their own sheet the data time to call, and the reason, etc gives them a commitment and solidifies the conversation they just had...
