Prior to starting my own business I worked for another company in the same industry. I was a hard worker, diligent, and efficient. But other workers in the company that weren't as efficient made the same salary as I did, (or more, if they were there longer). I started my own company with the mindset that the harder I worked, and the more efficiently I worked, the more I would earn, which proved to be accurate; 33 years later, that philosophy still stands, not only for myself, but for the people who work for me.
I did not consider failure - I knew that I was very good at what I was doing, and as long as I worked hard and offered good service to our clients, that my company would be successful. Today our reputation as a full service real estate appraisal company is among the highest in Brooklyn.
