I am reminded of a phrase I learned many year ago "Inch by inch, life's a cinch. Yard by yard life is hard"...To reduce the stress that we all feel, best to stay "in the present".

When you recognize you are "laboring in isolation" and are not "moving forward" and simply repeating the same thoughts...it may be time to reach out to trusted others or simply try an approach to problem solving you've been resistant to in the past

Develop specificity for the demographic who are your best clients. SIngle women in their 30's, high stress professions, recent college grads, etc. when you can identify your target market different marketing strategies will be clearer. Good luck! Most of us do need to manage ocassional anxiety...

Healthy relationships (however you define "healthy") provides us with a feeling of safety and support. And feeling safe and supported helps us to face the many challenges in life.

Sounds like you are doing practical things that will help build a practice. I recommend cultivating relationships over time with other therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists. Maybe host a luncheon every couple of months with a topic of interest? Or, more informal coffee on a one to one...

Or, more informal coffee on a one to one basis> Psychology Today has been a good source for me I think because I still accept insurance, unlike many colleagues. Good luck!

Sounds to me that you are genuine in your desire to provide useful and meaningful information. That being said, a compelling title and a couple of good hashtags wouldn’t hurt! And even if there are others blogs out there, yours is still an expression of who you are and if there’s a need for it...

I’m not sure what you mean by morbid probabilities...if you are discomforted by it or they are ?

My own anxiety is managed by yoga and meditation and reminding myself that "all is well".How I treat anxiety with patients is more complex an answer!
