About Us
I have over 30 years of experience in the high-end luxury rug industry. I have designed custom rugs both as an in-house designer and independent. I work with design teams on their custom rug projects and people who want to make a beautiful statement in their home or business....even if they have no design experience. With over 20 years of teaching "rug design" I love informing people about rugs, fibers, and surfaces so they make informed decisions for their homes and business spaces. I can be hired for the day to rug shop.
How We Got Started
I am a seasoned and experienced rug and carpet designer who is familiar with many qualities and surfaces of rugs and carpet. I specialize in designing rugs and catering to the needs of custom rug projects. I work with skilled artisans and producers of luxury rugs and carpets. Additionally, I teach rug design at The Fashion Institute in New York City.

These gorgeous rugs are made by artisans in need of business,so.... acting as a bridge to those sources is what I would like to do. However, I am also an Adjunct Professor at FIT (teaching rug design) and a yoga teacher and switching to online platforms and learning all about a new format of teaching. I like my home so I am easily here and grounded through my yoga and teaching. Join me in a yoga class or lets design a rug for your sacred space..... just reach out and I will set you up. I like a casual presentation with question and answer time as well as visuals to support the learning. In some cases lunch and learns are a good idea depending up the availability of staff who are relevant. The down part of these things is lack of interest or designers in my case not being...

So having a competent person set it up and put the word out is essential.

My work is custom and my product is luxury for the most part, so if your budget is not capable of my prices I can offer other product that is always quality but might not be luxury. In the end I can't offer top of the line if your budget doesn't allow for it but I give the same service despite the product you choose....that being samples, artwork and my services as a seasoned designer who now sells. It's most important to me to give my client what they need and lots of attention so they always come back.
