Matt, I am a painting contractor as well. And. what I do is trun the conversation away from them wanting to sell me on their stuff, to me asking questions about their living space. Granted it takes time, but I get some practice selling my service. I have not got one yet, but they don't call back so often. As far as the robots, they show-up as SCAM MOST LIKELY on my phone. At at the end of the day it can be a pain. And like most things " here to day...gone tomorrow " Bill 210 790 3368

I am not sure there is an answer in the short term. We can not control the behaviors of other people. Making nice is often going out of the way for someone who may be better suited in another environment. It is like a teacher being told that a child 's conduct is his responsibility. In the mean time, the child is off the hook. And the department chair-person warns the teacher that his class is out of control . The simple solution is to get rid of the student. Unfortunately this is not the popular stance. However it is what has to be done. If you want to be on the team, you have to be team-member or risk being traded or let go. Peace

The title is something about Everything you needed to know about business you learned in the sand box. Granted there is not a lot of sand at a network meeting, yet the principle is similar. However, in the sand-box, it is not about getting leads. It is about making contacts, conversations and impressions. Based upon the quality of the impressions, a follow-up conversation can be used to build relationships. Once in relationship the frequency of the contacts, can lead to the bridge of trust. That means that during the networking-event, it is not profitable to buzz around and try to see everyone. Generally it is not wise to stay with one or two people. From my experience, the middle of the road approach seems to be the more beneficial. Back to the sand box, some days the right kids show-up, and somedays they don't. Nevertheless you can still play. Enjoy the game

Of course the Feng Shui of your environment is important, but once you are living your dream, the space conforms to your dream. From an interior design perspective part of the answer lies in purpose and function- start with a global mission. Over time your environment will take shape. Thanks for asking, Peace Bill

And the new name is how you want to be seen by future customers. And likewise with your name change, the old insurance company name will forward visitors to the new name. So my answer is keep both, with the understanding that the old one is only forwarding clients to the new company name. I trust this was helpful. Peace Bill
