About Us

We are a General Contractor focusing on Roofing and Siding. Slate, Asphalt Shingles, EPDM Membrane & Custom Copper work.
We do a lot of work for the State of Massachusetts in addition to our residential work.
We have also developed a construction estimating tool that is used on an IPad. It is called Go figure, check it out here: https://www.gofigureapp.net/
Go Figure allows our sales associates to go to a home, take pictures with an IPad utilizing a Spike laser measuring device, do a detailed digital take off, and email a customer a proposal very quickly.

How We Got Started

Michael Meadows was a home builder in the late 1970's through the 1980's. He has built many homes here in Newburyport. In the mid 1990's, Meadows Construction began doing public construction and that has carried us to today.

For me, I will let a supplier know by simply not buying from them anymore. If our business relationship is important to them I expect to hear from them.  Aside from that, it is not unlike any other human interaction. We primarily hire from within. Meaning it is usually referrals from people that already work for us. In our business, an employee that is not productive and experienced can cost us dearly.
