I find that playing the price game is a win-lose and the merchant is the loser. Clients will try to beat you down in price and they will ALWAYS do this, so you can expect it again and again if they turn out to be repeat customers. I don't want to have to play that game. If I can offer them something the competitor cannot, I do that...in the way of service, insurance valuations, etc. But if I cannot come down in price, I wish them well with their purchase elsewhere. I say walk away and avoid the stress.

Over the past 25 years I have had some really BAD companies for my credit card charges...like First National Bank...who over charged and had HUGE cancellation fees. But I learned my lesson and check my monthly statements from PaySafe closely and if I have questions they do get answered immediately. I think they are good and less expensive than PayPal. If my charges are sent through before 11AM I see the funds in my bank account the next day. Fast and inexpensive is great by me.

If it is a larger gallery with more than one locations, you might have to see someone in the corporate headquarters...but it doesn't hurt to show it to one of the gallery directors...if they like it enough, they can push for inclusion...even if its just their one gallery to start with....but your resume is important. They want to see where you have shown, any awards, etc.
