Right at Home, Corporate office partnered last year with UBer and Lyft here in Illinois.
called Transport powered by UBER HEALTH and LYFT
My office launched this service in October and it has been a huge success. rides to It works like this … seniors by the client calls our office, we set up the ride and monitor the travel making sure the client gets to and from their designation safely and timely.
We are able to connect to the driver at the time of service should there be any issues.
The client also can use their cell phone to call if there is a problem.
The drivers can take portable wheel chairs, walkers and other medical devices.
The client does not need to pay or tip at that time.
When we are billed from Uber we invoice the client, usually a few weeks out.
I'm receiving lots of positive feedback from this service!!!

I would love to learn more about this Cissie! We did find this Uber/ Lyft feature as well but believe it would not be a direct competitor. I'll send a connection request to you when I receive more (I'm currently all out).
