Right at Home, Corporate office partnered last year with UBer and Lyft here in Illinois.
called Transport powered by UBER HEALTH and LYFT
My office launched this service in October and it has been a huge success. rides to It works like this … seniors by the client calls our office, we set up the ride and monitor the travel making sure the client gets to and from their designation safely and timely.
We are able to connect to the driver at the time of service should there be any issues.
The client also can use their cell phone to call if there is a problem.
The drivers can take portable wheel chairs, walkers and other medical devices.
The client does not need to pay or tip at that time.
When we are billed from Uber we invoice the client, usually a few weeks out.
I'm receiving lots of positive feedback from this service!!!

I worked for many years in skilled nursing communities that were 5 star rated which is great but you have to have a team that is ACCOUNTABLE!!that means every department !!! And most important a strong administrator and strong DON !!

Get involve with your senior centers by sponsoring some of their events, POLICE and FIRE DEPT. as well...
partner up with home health,hospice,home care companies that can provide you with CEU presentations( Doctor speaking events, current issues with changes in medicare, elder law attorneys...

Get involve with your senior centers by sponsoring some of their events, POLICE and FIRE DEPT. as well...
partner up with home health,hospice,home care companies that can provide you with CEU presentations( Doctor speaking events, current issues with changes in medicare, elder law attorneys etc...) to be held at your community,day and evening events.
Host events at your community... the more you have the more chances of getting not only professionals there but people from the surrounding communities.
Contact the case managers at your hospital see if you can bring breakfast, lunch CEU presentation... to educate them on what you have to offer.
connect with skilled nursing if you do not have your own reach out to the 5* rehabs in the area... talk to the social workers they are always looking for good homes for their patients that may no longer be safe to return home.
call the churches ask for their nurse...meet with them
VISIBILITY IS KEY !!!!
