Be honest and direct and return calls as promptly as possible, however don't over sell yourself, allow them to do their own investigation into the type of product so they're educated on cost vs quality especially in the diverse World of graphics. If a customer appears difficult and overly particular and appears to be a "Know it all" go with your instincts and inform them you're sorry my workload is heavy and I don't have time and refer them elsewhere, it may sound counter productive, but nothing is more counter productive than a customer who is willing to disrespect your time, also 90 % of the time they're extremely cheap.
