About Us

Let us help you protect the legacy of your family. We have transferred millions of feet of Video and Film, digitally protected aging photos and slides, and protected the legacy of countless customers over our 30 years in business.
We are experts at preserving every moment, every memory, for all generations to view and share.

How We Got Started

In 1992 the doors to the Sono facility opened to the community. The industry was young. Through the years technology grew and so did our business. From a simple beginning of transferring film to a full service video production company capable of staffing a multicamera event. We have enjoyed working with many businesses and consumers from Fairfield county to NYC, and have worked with celebrities, senators, authors and actors from Maine to Mexico.

Of course there are exceptions to that rule. There are customers I have a long standing relationship with, or corporate clients that are net 30. That being said, the times when I did trust customers to pay after delivery I found myself chasing money for quite some time. Who needs that. Also, sometimes it's hard for us business owners to act as our own accounts receivable dept, finding it difficult to "get tough" with the client, so I say don't. Your mantra should be, and your customers need to understand..."Payment is expected upon completion of work".

We talk about what they want to achieve and ask for samples of what they like from video online. Then we begin the process of educating them so they understand what they are paying for. If they understand that what they are buying is an investment that should bring a return, no matter what the project, and not just an expense, it is easier for them to justify the cost.
