Tongbu means "synchronicity" or "walk with me"

Our Licensed and Certified practitioners at Tongbu Wellness Center® of Novato, CA, listen and care about each patient as individuals. Acupuncture and other treatment(s) will be specific to your
wellness goals.
Instead of treating symptoms we help you identify the source of your issues so that we can customize a health plan. It is designed to move your health in the direction of a fully functioning state of well-being.
Tongbu is Mandarin for "synchronicity" or "walk with me." We specialize in providing an

How We Got Started

Tongbu Wellness Center was born through Heide Nielsen's health and healing journey. It required synchronicity between several healing modalities. The name Tongbu, which means synchronicity or walk with me, was inspired from my experience. At Tongbu Wellness Center®, our clients get the best of many healing paths under one roof.

The biggest challenge with coming up with a protocol for patient's is their willingness to be a part of the healing process. I can definitely do my part as a doctor of acupuncture, however, I look at healing as a team effort. Although, most of my patient's are ready and willing to do their home self-care. Some patient's are not yet ready to make the changes needed for their optimal health, so my challenge is to gently encourage and guide them until they are fully ready.
