As a former prosecutor, I possess a certain skillset that not many defense lawyers in the state can offer: I have served as an Assistant District Attorney in both Oklahoma and Cleveland Counties.
From 1999 to 2005, I worked as a prosecutor in Oklahoma County, where I began my career trying DUI crimes, driving offenses, and other misdemeanors. I quickly rose to prosecuting narcotic offenses, drug trafficking, and conspiracy crimes, before moving onto robberies, home invasions, and property crimes. Within a short time, I was assigned to the sexual assaults and child abuse division, prosecuting and trying countless sex crimes offenses.
From 2008 to 2013, I worked as a prosecutor in the Cleveland County District Attorney’s Office, where I tried cases involving major crimes—including sexual assaults, child abuse, robberies, home invasions, trafficking and other drug related offenses. In both positions, I left with a winning trial record, and forged enduring relationships with my colleagues and the court.
